STATE OF PLAY | ISSUE ONE |NEWS| ► TGS OUTPERFORMS IN THE VICTORIAN MARKET Tabcorp Gaming Solutions (TGS) and its Victorian customers ended the 2015-2016 financial year on a very good note. The TGS Victorian network saw an increase in revenue growth ending FY16 at 2.61 percent, while the rest of the Victorian market slowed over the same period ending with a 0.65 percent lift. Revenue market share of the TGS venue network also improved year-on-year reaching 30.6 percent. TGS has consistently seen a larger portion of its venues showing growth in customer numbers each year, with 68 percent of venues experiencing an average of 8 percent growth in 2016. In comparison, only 54 percent of venues outside the TGS network experienced growth, and at a lower rate of 7 percent. ▲ TABCORP JOINS FORCES WITH INTECQ Tabcorp and INTECQ have joined forces to create Australia’s leading gaming and venue services business. This acquisition presents many opportunities for customers as they can benefit from the resources and expertise of both businesses. The acquisition also ensures a sense of continuity as both businesses come together. General Manager Peter Walford will continue to manage the day-to-day running of INTECQ.
